🏘️ Town 🚴 CyclingCanet de Mar is a seaside resort on the Maresme coast, 40 km northeast of Barcelona, in a mountain range that separates the sea from the Montnegre massif. With a great textile tradition, it is also an important cultural centre with the church of San Pedro, the Virgin of Mercy (neo-Gothic) and the modernist houses of Domènech. Its streets are adorned with modernist buildings by architects such as Josep Puig i Cadafalch, Pere Domènech i Roura, Lluís Domènech and Antoni Puig i Gairalt.
